Richard Lionheart was imprisoned in Trifels Castle, which also exhibits magnificent copies of the Imperial regalia. The Sausage Market in neighbouring Bad Dürkheim, held in September, is Germanys biggest wine festival. Come and enjoy this uniquely furnished and designed hotel, with well-equipped meeting facilities. It is located at the entrance to the town, surrounded by vineyards. 200 m from railway station and city centre.
