Originally a 17th century nobleman's mansion belonging to the family of Count Flamburiari, the building was partly bombed during the second World War. The original walls and facade were kept when the Cavalieri was created in 1967. The Cavalieri Hotel has recently been completely renovated, it is open all year around and consists of 5 single, 36 twin and 9 maisonette-style rooms.
