Thus, the rooms are currently being renovated for the second time since 1988 so that they best meet the needs of today's traveler. In 1998, all public access areas were renovated aiming towards creating a comfortable and hospitable environment. In 1999, after a real estate acquisition, the hotels first floor was expanded by approximately 400sq.meters and five new conference rooms were created in addition to a new lounge area and the necessary secondary areas. Through the application of modern technology, most of the walls of this new area are removable allowing multiple size and shape options. In the same year, the Hotel Vergina became a member of the Best Western of Hotels, the largest, privately owned, chain of hotels in the world.
