This ancient Masseria (built around 1500) offers a pleasant rural retreat close to nature, but only two steps from the sea. The adjacent restaurant situated in the Old Monastery provides superb regional cooking using only the finest local ingredients. The air conditioned rooms have been carefully converted from the original ovili buildings, and are fully equipped with hair dryer, colour TV, a small kitchen, and full shower and toilet facilities.

There are 33 rooms all with their own private little garden deep in the olive trees territory of the fasano planes, 2 rooms are in the antique caves, one of which is a very large suite with its own private 200 sqmt antique orchard. Some other rooms are placed inside the courtyard of the Masseria and one has its own antique orchard garden. In the Masseria you can organize business Meeting under the ancient ceilings in front of a fireplace, or in an ancient 'Frantoio' which was the place were they used to press the olives. A typical furnace used as kitchen available for guests use. The family is composed by a writer-journalist, his wife (a photographer) and their son: they live in the country house, while guests are welcomed in the rural annexes furnished in cottage style, fully independent and recently restored. Breakfast includes fresh brioche, bread and jam, fruit juice and yogurt and is served under a mulberry tree or in room. Evening meals made up of pugliesi or Indian specialties arranged for good TABLE and novelties lovers in the patio of the Country House. For good wine and locally typical produce lovers, instead, excursions in the surrounding area catered.
