| Situated in the historical and monumental center of Villaviciosa the hotel is located in one of the most emblematic buildings of Villaviciosa, the House of the Archdeacon and what became afterwards the chocolate factory owned by D. Andrés Miravalles Miranda until its demolition in 1921. In its place and reusing the stone of the previous building, D. Corripio González built this 'Casa de Indiano'. The architectural structure has remained the same since then. It had several uses, like House of Spain, for a time City council used it to held its sessions, as Library, Day-care center. In 1995 the building was totally refurbished the first time and again in 2004 to recovered to lodge the Hotel Casa España. The Hotel has 12 rooms equipped with central heating, Telephone, TV, minibar and complete bathroom with hair dryer. |
