Set in 5 1/2 acres of gardens, the hotel is famous as the retreat of Agatha Christie during her disapearance in 1926. | Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable no smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. VisditBritain Four Diamond classifation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We have our own private free car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. The bedrooms all non-smoking, all en-suite, some with a bath and shower, all with complimentary toiletries, are decorated to a very high standard. Each with controllable central heating, colour television with eight channels, direct dial telephone with laptop internet access, hair dryer, alarm clock radio and beverage welcome tray. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than 70 restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.
